More than 70 million U.S. adults suffer from chronic low back pain, & 36% rate their pain "severe". 

Hip pain affects 30-40% of people who engage in regular exercise & sports, for example, people who do a lot of fitness-oriented yoga.

Pain and discomfort are not an entirely biomechanical phenomenon – if they were, medicine would have figured out how to treat it appropriately by now – instead we are mired in a chronic pain and opioid epidemic.
Chronic pain is a biopsychosocial spiritual challenge that deserves a broad perspective and approach. 
Yoga can reduce pain in the low back and hips, but:
  • What kind of yoga?
  • How much?
  • When?
  • ​For whom, exactly?
Unfortunately there is plenty of yoga being taught out there that increases back & hip pain.
So, against this backdrop, I totally understand if you have ZERO confidence about teaching people with back or hip pain.

In this 3-part workshop, we'll explore the role of the nervous system, hormonal dysregulation, and inflammation in creating pain.
We will look at aging as well as social and spiritual factors that may contribute to pain and discomfort.
By the end of this Training, you will understand the biopsychosocial spiritual mechanisms through which yoga helps support low back and hip health.
And how to apply powerful, effective yoga practices to help your students reduce pain and discomfort, find easeful, comfortable movement, and improve back and hip health.

Q. How long will I have access to the workshop recordings and materials on the Kajabi platform?
A. 12 months. That is, until May 30, 2024. However, all the materials including the recordings will be downloadable.
Q. Is the workshop refundable?
A. No. For our live workshops we do not offer refunds.
Q. When will all the materials including the recordings and the bonuses be on the Kajabi platform?
A. Everything will be in Kajabi by May 25. The video replays and the stick figure scripts of the practices will be in Kajabi by Thursday afternoon after the workshop (April 27, May 11 and May 25). 
Q. Are there any CEUs available?
A. Yes, 12 CEUs with Yoga Alliance & IAYT (with approval).
