Good sequencing can create an unprecedented alchemy in your body and mind like you’ve never experienced before.

It’s not about trying to craft a smooth flow or lovely choreography – it’s about understanding the energetic effects of each pose and how to combine it with particular breathing patterns that profoundly shift your nervous system.

Here's a little about me:
  • I've been practicing yoga for decades; I first started to alleviate my own struggles with depression, anxiety, and eating disorders.
  • ​I started teaching yoga in 1995.
  • ​I've studied for thousands of hours - with some of the greatest yoga sequencing masters of our time.
  • ​I've trained mental health professionals to use yoga in their clinical practice at the University of North Carolina Health Sciences since 2009.
  • ​I am the yoga therapy representative on the Integrative Health Policy Consortium where I advocate for the US government to bring yoga therapy into the health care system.
I love helping yoga teachers reach their potential!
Most yoga sequencing workshops teach you how to increase flexibility or progress to harder poses.
This workshop is very different.
movement + breath + specific sequencing can create a profound impact on the nervous system.
This workshop will teach to you to create sequences that change your nervous system, your mental/emotional state, and over time, build greater resilience, balance, and peace of mind. Briefly changing your state with a breathing practice, yoga pose, or mudra, is not the same thing as using practices regularly to create neuroplastic changes over time.

These sequencing utilize breath in a very skillful way that is much more specific than “inhale up, exhale down” or extended hyperventilating, or even restorative yoga, to create an alchemy. 
Some yoga sequencing is actually more like choreography.
It can be fun and a great workout! But in this workshop, you will learn how to sequence for the nervous system, the mind, and for creating greater positive mental and emotional health. Sequencing for the nervous system is different from: flowing choreography, yin yoga, restorative yoga, or yoga Nidra. Learning to shift energy in the body is not the same thing as creating a flow in a fitness-oriented yoga class.
The methods you'll discover in this workshop are not widely taught in the yoga world.
It’s difficult to find this information, particularly with this much precision and refinement.
Most yoga sequencing workshops teach you how to
