This past year was tough for all of us - many experienced uncertainty, isolation, disconnection, and anxiety. There are work and financial pressures - and we’ve had to adapt to new paradigms and new normals.

On top of that we’ve had to show up and be strong for our partners, our parents, our children, our siblings, our friends and, as yoga teachers, for our students.

Right now, self-care is everything! There’s so much hype, noise, fear, and 24-7 news, so it’s really never been more important to carve out sanctuary time to have the space to focus on self-care and building greater resilience.
We’ve created a safe haven.

This past year we’ve been forced to alter our behavior and our lives. In order to survive and thrive, we need to become more resilient. 

Sadly, for many of us, we haven’t 
(while Netflix and wine is fun, it’s not exactly a, um, sustainable strategy 😉). 
And so, right now, learning how to build a resilient body-mind is both important and urgent.
It’s one of those things where you may feel like you should be able to do it by yourself…
And you can certainly try to build some resilience on your own...
But... How comforting and uplifting would it be to be coached by a leading world authority on the intersection of yoga and neuroscience and be part of a group of like-minded people? in a safe, brave, supportive environment? 
Hi, I'm Kristine Weber
I’ve been teaching yoga since 1995 and training yoga teachers since 2003. I learned yoga as a young teenager and began using it regularly to address my own anxiety and depression.
For more than a decade I’ve been studying the neuroscientific benefits of yoga and meditation. I am a passionate advocate for slow, mindful yoga and have dedicated myself to teaching people how to use it to strengthen their nervous system and optimize their brain.
I am humbled and honored that, somehow, I’ve gathered together the kindest, sweetest, most compassionate group of slow, mindful yoga enthusiasts and teachers from every corner of the world (you can read some of their thoughts about Subtle® Yoga below). 

I’ve written articles for publications (like Yoga Therapy Today), provided protocols for research, and I’ve trained thousands of yoga teachers and mental health professionals. I’m frequently invited to speak about yoga at mental health and medical conferences.

Prioritizing self-care with safe, nervous system focused yoga

The Subtle® Yoga Resilience Society™ is a private, online members community on Facebook & our course platform called Kajabi (see FAQs). It’s for yoga lovers who want practical, ongoing support and coaching from a world-class expert on how to build nervous system resilience using slow, mindful yoga in a supportive and authentic community of like-minded folks. 
There are weekly yoga classes (with me!), and a monthly, digital notebook-journal to support the themes we are exploring. You’ll also have the opportunity to join live (or recorded) monthly Q&A mentoring sessions with me, engage with other sincere, heartful members and participate in games and contests.
What’s Included:
Subtle® Yoga  Resilience Workshops - LIVE
The first week of every month join me online for a 90 minute workshop that consists of a short talk about various aspects of science and yoga philosophy that build and strengthen resilience, followed by an asana practice, and sometimes short pranayama and meditation practices. If you can’t catch it live, don’t worry, it’ll be recorded for you to watch at your leisure.
Asana + Pranayama Practices - LIVE
The second week of every month join me online for a 30-40 minute class consisting of some simple asanas followed by a short pranayama practice. Pranayama is essential for developing greater nervous system resilience and these sessions give you great tools to use on a regular basis. If you can’t catch it live, don’t worry, it’ll be recorded for you to watch at your leisure.
Asana + Meditation Practices - LIVE
The third week of every month join me online for a 30-40 minute class consisting of some simple asanas followed by a meditation practice. Meditation is the KEY practice of yoga and the key tool for transformation. If you can’t catch it live, don’t worry, it’ll be recorded for you to watch at your leisure.
60 minute Asana Classes - LIVE
The fourth week of every month join me online for a 60 minute asana class to support and embody the themes we’ve explored during the month. If you can’t catch it live, don’t worry, it’ll be recorded for you to watch at your leisure.
Resilience Society Digital Journal
Each month you’ll get access to a PDF packed with info, tips and suggestions for journaling to support the themes we are exploring.
Supportive Online Community
This group is filled with folks who love cheerleading for each other and are committed to avoiding the ubiquitous negativity of social media. We want to celebrate your happy moments and successes and empathize with your challenges. You can post, comment, and connect here safely!
Live Q&A Mentoring Sessions
Each month there is a live Q&A session where I mentor you on the topical issues for you at that moment including yoga for thriving, yoga for trauma and yoga for addiction.

I won’t be able to attend the live online sessions, is it still worth joining?

Yes! All the sessions are recorded and then filed neatly in the relevant section in Facebook and Kajabi for easy access for you to watch for the first time - AND to return to time and time again.

How long will I have access to the recorded workshops, classes and practices?

As long as you remain a member of the Subtle® Yoga Resilience Society, you can return to these videos time and time again. They will be neatly filed in both Facebook and Kajabi for easy access. The Subtle® Yoga Resilience Society will remain operational until at least June 30, 2024 at which time we’ll make an assessment on the viability of the group.

When will the virtual workshops, classes and practices be each month?

The first four Wednesdays of every month at 9:30am ET.

Here’s the monthly schedule::
1st Wednesday - 90 minute Workshop (30 minutes lecture + 60 minutes asana practice)
2nd Wednesday - 30 minute Asanas + Pranayama
3rd Wednesday - 40 minute Asanas + Meditation
4th Wednesday - 60 minute Asana Class


* Please note that during 5 Wednesday months, no content will be released on the last Wednesday.

If you can’t join live, the recordings will be filed in the group for easy access for you to watch for the first time or to return to time and time again.

Am I bound by any rules as a member of The Subtle® Yoga Resilience Society™?

Yes, there are common-sense rules around behavior in the online group to ensure that we maintain a safe, supportive and authentic community environment for all members. Continuous breaching of the rules will result in warnings and if the member continues to offend they will be evicted from the Society. The evicted member will not be entitled to a refund.

What if I join in the middle of the month?
a.
No worries, you can join whenever you like! All previous material will be available to you in the appropriate units. We encourage members not to get hung up on feeling “really behind.” There’s no behind here. All the content is non-linear. That is, each month has a particular theme but there are no months that you need to complete in order to move to the next month… just jump in wherever you like and go at your own pace!

I’m a yoga teacher, are there stick figure cheat sheets or scripts for any of the practices?
a.
Stick figures and scripts are not provided, although some community members post them from time to time and we save those in the monthly Units/Guides. You can also feel free to pause the videos and take as many notes as you like!

How do I cancel my membership?
a.
Simply email support@subtleyoga.com and we will cancel your payment plan, and remove you from the Facebook group, and revoke your Kajabi access. Be sure to do this 2-3 days before your next payment is due so we are able to process it in time.

If I leave the Resilience Society™, can I rejoin at the same rate?

If you’d like to resubscribe you are more than welcome to join again! The Resilience Society will be offered at whatever the current subscription rate is.

No one who wants to be an active and contributing member of the Resilience Society™ will be turned away due to lack of funds. Email Stacey at support@subtleyoga.com and we'll sort something out for you.
